After a number of community meetings and negitiations between the city and the developer, no agreement was reached and the city rejected the application for rezoning. The developer appealed to the Ontario Municipal Board, and the hearing was held in September 2009. The OMB decision has not yet been handed down. See the discussion page for the development.
1908 Gerrard Street East (Acropol)
A proposal for a 29-unit building for "Homeless individuals experiencing mental illness" was passed by Toronto City Council on December 12, 2007. See the Acropol page for more information.
